Olayinka Odunbaku
Founder/ CEO
Olayinka Odunbaku is the Founder and CEO of The Hedge and Alpha Company Limited, a technology-driven financial service firm. With a strong background in finance, investment, and business development, Olayinka is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company and making important corporate decisions. He has over 18 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, including roles in e-commerce, public finance, consulting, and banking.
Olayinka holds professional certifications as a CFA institute member, a Chartered Accountant (ACCA), and a Chartered Tax Practitioner with CITN. He has obtained bachelor's and master's degrees in Applied Accounting and Banking and Finance from Oxford Brookes University in the UK and the University of Lagos in Nigeria, respectively.
Lateef Fatola
Co-founder/ Managing Director
Lateef is a key member of Hedge and Alpha Company Limited, over- seeing day-to-day strategic operations. With nearly 30 years of experi- ence in the financial sector, he has developed expertise in various areas, including asset management, pension funds, capital raising, operational processes, and relationship management.
Lateef holds a BSc. in Accounting and a Master's degree in Banking and Finance, both obtained from the University of Lagos. He is a member of the Chartered National Accountants of Nigeria (CNA), an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS), and the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School Senior Management Programme (SMP31) and holds certification as a 27001 ISO lead implementer.
Femi Serrano
Non-Executive Director
Femi is Air Quality – EOR at Oxy Oil and Gas. She is a Professional Engi- neer (PE) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 16 years of working experience as an engineer. Her stakeholders often describe her as a detail-oriented, proactive problem solver and fun-loving person. She proudly volunteers at the Multiple Sclerosis Society and supports several nonprofit organisations, including the International Children’s Network. She has a degree in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M College Kingsville and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ilorin.
Alfred Olajide
Non-Executive Director
Alfred is the Managing Director of Coca-Cola Nigeria and is an experienced business leader with a solid base of competencies across strategy, operations management, and execution. His career spans financial services, FMCG and management consulting. His prior experience in the Coca-Cola system spans various roles in different Geographies across the African continent.
He has a First Class (Hons) Degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Leicester, UK.
